Farewell at Miletus

The Setup

Alright, picture this: it's the first century, and the Apostle Paul is on a whirlwind farewell tour. He's like the rockstar of early Christianity, crisscrossing the Mediterranean to spread the news about Jesus. At this point, Paul is on his third missionary journey, and spoiler alert, it’s about to get emotional in Miletus.

Paul’s been hustling hard, visiting churches and establishing new ones. He’s poured his heart into these communities, and now, he’s heading back to Jerusalem with a feeling he's not going to see these friends again. Before taking off, he wants one last heart-to-heart with the leaders from Ephesus.
